After Game 4: The Anaheim Ducks visited and topped the Calgary Flames 3-goals-1 to complete a 4-games-nil best-of-7 MLB/NBA/NHL playoff series 1326 victory. With the series 1326 win, the Anaheim Ducks improve their best-of-7 NHL playoff series record to 9-7 overall and 5-4 in the Preliminary round. With the series 1326 loss, the Calgary Flames see their best-of-7 NHL playoff series record fall to 12-19 overall and 4-12 in the Preliminary round. The win order for the victorious Anaheim Ducks in series 1326 was WWWW: Series 1326 thus becomes the 29th NHL Preliminary-round series, the 114th NHL series (all rounds), and the 216th MLB/NBA/NHL series (all rounds) to follow that win order to completion. Series 1326 is the first NHL Preliminary-round sweep since series 1260, in which the Anaheim Ducks themselves took the broom to the Winnipeg Jets (II) in the only sweep of the 2015 NHL Preliminary round.
