With the series 1280 win, the Houston Rockets improve their best-of-7 NBA playoff series record to 15-16 overall and 7-6 in the Quarterfinals round. With the series 1280 loss, the Los Angeles Clippers see their best-of-7 NBA playoff series record fall to 4-5 overall and 0-4 in the Quarterfinals round. The win order for the victorious Houston Rockets in series 1280 was LWLLWWW: Series 1280 thus becomes the second NBA Quarterfinals-round series, the fifth NBA series (all rounds), and the 21st MLB/NBA/NHL series (all rounds) to follow that win order to completion. With the series 1280 win, the Houston Rockets become the ninth team in best-of-7 NBA playoff history to surmount a 3-games-1 deficit for a 4-games-3 series victory, and join the Boston Celtics as only the second team to accomplish a comeback from a 3-games-1 deficit twice.
