With the series 1200 win, the Boston Bruins improve their best-of-7 NHL playoff series record to 47-46 overall and 16-16 in the NHL Semifinals. With the series 1200 loss, the Pittsburgh Penguins see their best-of-7 NHL playoff series record fall to 28-20 overall and 4-4 in the NHL Semifinals. Series 1200 becomes the 25th best-of-7 NHL Semifinals series, the 110th best-of-7 NHL series (all rounds), and the 202nd best-of-7 MLB/NBA/NHL series (all rounds) to end in a four-game sweep. Three of the last four sweeps in the NHL Semifinals have now been achieved by the team without home-ice advantage. In series 1200, the Pittsburgh Penguins scored a total of two goals.
