The series 1216 loss drops the Memphis Grizzlies best-of-7 NBA playoff series record to 3-6 overall and 0-1 in the Semifinals. Series 1216 becomes the 15th NBA Semifinals series, the 65th NBA series (all rounds), and the 201st MLB/NBA/NHL playoff series under the best-of-7 format to end in a four-game sweep.
