With the series 1155 loss, the Ottawa Senators see their best-of-7 NHL playoff series record fall to 8-13 overall (with an active four-series losing streak, begun with a loss in series 1004 in the 2007 NHL Finals) and 5-8 (with an active three-series losing streak) in the Preliminary round. The win order for the victorious New York Rangers in series 1155 was WLWLLWW: Series 1155 thus becomes the third NHL Preliminary-round series, the seventh NHL series (all rounds), and the fifteenth MLB/NBA/NHL series (all rounds) to follow that win order to completion.
