After Game 4: The Philadelphia Flyers averted elimination from the 2008 NHL playoffs with a 4-goals-2 home-ice victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Pittsburgh lead in MLB/NBA/NHL best-of-7 playoff series 1035 is now 3-games-1. When leading a best-of-7 NHL playoff series 3-games-1, the Pittsburgh Penguins have a 5-1 series record with a five-series winning streak, and a Game 5 record of 5-1 with a five-Game 5 winning streak. When trailing a best-of-7 NHL playoff series 3-games-1, the Philadelphia Flyers have a 0-12 series record and a 6-6 Game 5 record. Series 1035 is the seventh best-of-7 NHL playoff series in which the winning team has posted four goals in each of Games 1-4.
