After Game 4: The San Antonio Spurs visited and defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 83-pts-82 to sweep best-of-7 MLB/NBA/NHL playoff series 1019, 4-games-nil. San Antonio thus becomes the 2007 NBA champions. With the series 1019 win, San Antonio improves its best-of-7 NBA playoff series record to 22-14 overall and 4-0 in the Finals. With the series 1019 loss, Cleveland has its best-of-7 NBA playoff series record fall to 6-5 overall and 0-1 in the Finals. The four-game sweep is the eighth in the NBA Finals (and the first since 2002, when the Los Angeles Lakers disposed of the New Jersey Nets in four straight), the 50th in the NBA (all rounds), and the 170th in MLB/NBA/NHL best-of-7 play. With the win by San Antonio, the 2007 best-of-7 NBA playoff series comes to a close after 79 games. Since the NBA adopted a best-of-7 format for its Preliminary round, its playoff seasons have featured 88 games in 2003, 82 in 2004, 84 in 2005, 89 in 2006.
