The win order for the victorious San Jose Sharks in their NHL Quarterfinals series was the punch-counterpunch WLWLWLW; ironically, the first NHL team to win a best-of-7 playoff series WLWLWLW was the predecessor entity to the series-losing Colorado Avalanche - the old Quebec Nordiques (in the 1985 NHL Quarterfinals over their provincial rival Montreal Canadiens).

The Clippers trailed Golden State by 23 points at halftime of their 2019 NBA Western Conference Quarterfinals Game 2, but rallied for the victory. The 23-point halftime deficit surmounted by the Clippers is the second-largest halftime deficit surmounted in best-of-7 NBA playoff game history: In 2017, the Cleveland Cavaliers trailed the Pacers in Indiana by 25 halftime points in Game 3 of their Eastern Conference Quarterfinals series, but won.

Series Comeback of the Spring 2019 Season:
The in-series comeback of the Spring 2019 playoff season thus far was achieved by the NHL San Jose Sharks, against the Vegas Golden Knights in the 2019 NHL best-of-7 Preliminary round. San Jose trailed Vegas 3-games-1 after four games of their series, but rallied to win the series 4-games-3.
